Sunny, bright, cheerful is how I will always remember Tonya - like a ray of sunshine when she walked in the room. When just very little girls in grade school together at Anderson Elementary, we learned we were cousins and then I had to move away in 3rd grade. Throughout life's journey we always remembered we were family. It was always such a joy to see her.
Angelia, Butch, Terry &Tasha and all her loving family- may you be comforted knowing only happiness will be walking beside her forever.
Tonya - may your sweet spirit always soar on a joyful breeze.
See you on our next journey cousin.

We remember Tonya as a very special and beautiful lady. We enjoyed hearing her play when she sang with her family. She was always friendly, and we knew she loved the Lord. Prayers of peace and comfort to Rocky and family and to Tom and Angie McNair and family.

I first met Tonya when she married husband, Rocky. In marrying him she became a stepMom to my two children, Darlene Slinger & Darrell Glenn. I am so thankful that she fell in love with Darlene & Darrell and loved them as her own and it was the same way with the grand and great grand babies. She I never had any problems at all with each other. I know Rocky will miss her along with Tasha also my two. She was a good woman who loved Jesus. She is home now waiting on all to join her. Rocky just hold on to this hope and you will make it through. If I can do this with the two I've lost I know you can, it won't be easy, but you can do it.

We remember when Tonya and Rocky married. It changed his joy to a skip and jump. She was so beautiful inside and out. We went to Praise Temple many years with Rocky and Darlene and Glenn. We are so sad to hear this news. But rejoice that her rewards was waiting on her in heaven as Jesus greeted her through the gates. We are praying for the family tonight.
