Craft, Veda, age 67 of Strawberry Plains passed away on February 28, 2014. Veda was a devoted Christian of over 30 years and a loving wife, mother and mom mom. She was the former owner of Isom Bakery and Adams Florist in Isom, Kentucky and the author of “Healthy Heavenly Desserts” cookbook.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lonnie and Hattie Amburgey, her mother and father-in-law Versa and Ben Craft, her niece Kisha Craft, her brothers Charles and Allen Amburgey, and nephew Dillon Amburgey
She is survived by her husband Randall Craft, her son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Christy Craft, her grandchildren Austin and Dustin Craft, her siblings Ann Cornett, Jean Amburgey, Lou Slone, Benjamin Amburgey, Betty Craft and William K Amburgey and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Monday, March 3 from 5-7 pm. Family and friends will gather at Thorngrove Cemetery on Tuesday March 4 at 12:45 for a 1 pm Graveside service. Condolences may be offered at www.mccarty-evergreen.com
