Velma C Jackson

Velma Conley Jackson – age 90 of Knoxville passed away Monday, December 26, 2016. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Bearden. Velma retired from Foot Mineral Company and Knox County School Systems after 30+ years of service. Preceded in death by her parents J. Carl and Rose Troutman Conley, husband Kenneth Jackson, brothers Doc “DW” Conley, Carl “Ed” Conley, Jack Conley and Samuel Wayne Conley, sisters Sue Conley Yahr, Mary Conley Chapman and Ginger Conley McFarland. Survivors include Sister Christine Conley Weems, step-son Kenny Jackson and wife Chris, granddaughters Anna and Jamie Jackson, nieces and nephews Jill, Glynn, Patricia, Renee, Curtis, Kevin, Fred, Keith, Ty, Celeste, Tracy, Gina, Tim and Kathrine. She also leaves many great nieces and nephews and a special friend James Acuff and family. The family will receive friends Friday, December 30, 2016 at Berry Highland Memorial from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11am with interment to follow at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919.
