Vera Jean Cobble Parrott Bunch

Bunch, Vera Jean Cobble Parrott –age 80, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013. She was retired from Vulcan Materials after many years of service. Jean was recognized as a 1000+hours volunteer at UT Hospital. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Louisville. Preceded in death by her parents, Roy DeBord and Gertrude Michaels McCallie; brothers, Charles L. DeBord, Raleigh P. DeBord, Samuel A. DeBord; sister, Nancy (Ann) Ratledge; former husbands, Bill T. Cobble, Alvin L. Parrott and J. Ron Bunch. Survived by daughters, Marthena (Tena) C. Branam and Tracy C. Vittetoe; several sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and her canine companion, Buffy. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Funeral service will follow at 8 PM, Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM Friday, February 8, 2013 at Woodlawn Cemetery for a graveside service.
