Vickie Karen Tharp Pickens

Pickens, Vickie K.-March 8, 1953 went home to be with the Lord on January 31, 2012. Vickie was of the Baptist faith and a member of Old Time Gospel Baptist Church in Seymour. She was employed at UT CIRPC for 25 years. Vickie is preceded in death by her first husband, Phil Cole; father, William “Bill” Tharp. Survivors include husband, David Pickens; son, Jeremy Pickens; daughter, Jennifer Clark and husband Robbie; mother, June Tharp; sister, Gail Clark and husband Randy; brother, Grant Tharp and wife JoAn; grandchildren, Tiffany Clark, D. J. Clark, Haliey Pickens, Emma Pickens, Katie Pickens, Liam Pickens and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, February 5, 2012 in the chapel of Berry Funeral home with funeral services to follow at 8:00 pm. Rev. Mike Vandergriff and Rev. Don Cooper officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 pm Monday, at Berry Funeral Home and will proceed in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for a 1:00 pm interment service.
