Violet Genell Wolfe

Violet Genell Wolfe passed on October 7, 2026, at the age of 90. She enjoyed her time at Mt Olive Baptist Church working with the special education class, where she was a longtime member. Violet had a wide variety of interests including: cooking, baking, ceramics, bowling, and shopping. Her family meant the world to her - she was a loving mother and beloved grandma.

Preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Lonzo Wolfe; son, Wallace Lonzo "Lonnie" Wolfe, Jr.; parents, Herman and Annie Shubirg; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; and her special companion, Shadow.

She is survived by sons, Michael Wolfe (Kathy), David Wolfe (Pamela), John Wolfe (Danielle); daughter, Linda Sparks (Rob); 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will meet at 12:00 PM at Berry Highland South on Monday, October 12, 2026 for a 1:00 PM graveside service.
