
Schmudde, Virginia “Pauline” –age 78, of Knoxville, died at home peacefully surrounded by family and close friends on December 27, 2010. She had suffered with Parkinson’s disease for over 10 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Junius and Ethel Davis; brothers Cecil, Warren, and Walter; sisters Hazel, Viola, and Mary. Survived by her husband of 53 years, Ted; children Susan McLemore and husband Jim, Eric Schmudde and wife Anne Randolph, Anne Hudnall and husband Tim, and Andrew Schmudde and wife Jill; Grandchildren Jason McLemore and wife Melanie, Megan McLemore, Alex McLemore, Patrick McLemore, Davis Schmudde, Kelly Schmudde, Charlotte Hudnall, Thomas Hudnall, Spencer Schmudde, Johnny Schmudde and Paul Schmudde; Sisters Emma, Margie, Annette, and Jeanette. Special thanks to her friend, honorary sister, and caregiver Shirley Vandaver and her dog Lilly. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 4:00 pm at Peace Lutheran Church followed by a reception. Private burial service will held on Tuesday, January 4.
