

She was born at Camp Rucker in Alabama to Paul and Myrtle Whillock while Paul was serving in the U.S. Army. Wanda was married for 46 years to her best friend, Norman. They cherished traveling, dining with friends, and attending family gatherings. Wanda also loved playing and beating her sisters at cards and golf. She was a member of Central Bearden Church and enjoyed attending church functions. Wanda was a long-time employee of Home Federal Bank and served as Executive Secretary to David Sharp, President of Home Federal Bank.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Myrtle (Clark) Whillock.
She is survived by her husband, Norman D. Terrell; sisters, Pauletta (Whillock) and Joe Woody (deceased), Lucreta (Whillock) and Charlie Harkleroad; sister-in-law, Treva (Terrell) Pryor and Dr. Neal Thomas Pryor (deceased). “Aunt Faye” was a second mother and grandmother to nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family and friends will gather for a graveside service on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Whispering Waters Pavilion in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville TN 37919. Reverend Charles Harkleroad and Reverend Mark Moreland will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be sent to Central Bearden Church Choir at 6300 Deane Hill Drive, Knoxville TN 37919.
