Young, Wanda E., age 79, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2015 after a long battle with dementia. She was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church and retired from TRW, Knoxville. Survived by husband, Babe R. Young; children, Gail (Jr.) Burgin, Sherry (Donnie) Hill, and Jimmy Martin; grandchildren, Brandy Johnson and Brandon Hill; 6 great-grandchildren. Very special dog, Toby. Special thank you to Smoky Mountain Hospice for their care and support and to caregivers, Kay Corum and Mimi Johnson. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Sunday at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Mike Vincent officiating.
