

Terrell, Waymon Earl, age 65, of Knoxville, passed away December 29, 2015, after a short battle with throat cancer. Most knew Earl as the man that lived in the woods on Schaad Rd. in the Karns/Powell Community. For the last twenty years he could be seen riding his bicycle and pulling his cart in the Clinton Hwy area. For many years he was accompanied by his faithful dogs. Although Earl chose to live a solitary life, he was a well-recognized and accepted member of our community. Many of you have rallied around Earl in recent months as his health began to fail and have provided for his needs along with many prayers.
Earl was a professed Christian and follower of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He was born in Lyon County Kentucky. He served in the United States Marine Corp and attended the University of Kentucky. Proceeded in death by parents Rev. Lester L. and Lea J. Terrell; Sister, Jenilee Terrell Harris. Survived by Sister Zilla Terrell Cansler and Brother James L Terrell; all of Kentucky Graveside Service will be held at 3 pm, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Friends may visit at their convenience Monday, January 11, 2016 from 9 am to 7 pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway.
