Bryan, William Joseph, age 99, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Joan Bryan of Sanford, Florida. He was a member and former deacon of Fifth Ave. Baptist Church, a graduate of Old Knoxville High School, and was in the 113th Infantry during WWII. He was in the Knoxville restaurant business for most of his life as owner of Bryan’s Restaurant and manager for Weavers and Almart Cafeterias. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Chandler Bryan. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Joan Bryan, David and Marilyn Bryan; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ralph Ivens; grandchildren, Richard Bryan, Kendra Bryan, Elizabeth Kifer, Lisa Coburn, Kenny Ivens, Jeff Ivens; great-grandchildren, Baylee Bryan, Cameron and Josh Kieran, Cole and Mason Ivens.
