William Michael Dalton

Mike attended school in South Knoxville and graduated from Doyle High school in 1975. Throughout his life, he was known for a steady work ethic and a willingness to meet each day head-on.

In March of 1983, Mike married Bobbie Davis, and together they built a life rooted in devotion and family.

Mike found enjoyment in the simple pleasures and friendly competition of shooting pool and playing golf, and he took special pride in following Lady Vols softball. In these pastimes, his spirit for adventure showed itself in the way he embraced the moment, and valued friendships.

Mike is survived by his wife, Bobbie Dalton; sisters, Lou Ann Taylor (Harold) and Jana Spicka (Chuck); brother, Darrell Dalton (Barbara); step-son, Chris Seay (Missi); granddaughter, Gabby Seay; and several nieces and nephews. And constant canine companion, Jack.

Mike was preceded in death by his first wife, Stephanie Dalton; father, William F. Dalton; and mother, Vira Lou Dalton.

Visitation will be held on October 2, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

A Graveside Service will be held on October 2, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Young Williams Animal Shelter. Condolences may be offered at www.berryhighlandsouth.com
