He was born to parents, Era and Andrew Davidson, on September 17, 1944, in McMinnville, Tennessee. Bill never had the opportunity to meet his biological father, as Andrew died in World War II on the day of Bill’s birth. Luckily, a wonderful man by the name of Floyd Page came into his life and helped Era raise Bill until he went off to join the Army after high school graduation.
Bill married the love of his life, Rozan Green, in 1973, who survives him. He is also survived by daughters Whitney Davidson and her husband Evan, Beth Nipper and her husband Jeremy, along with grandchildren Zay and Gabrielle Nipper. Bill also leaves his sister Shirley Maxwell, along with his brother Keith Page, who is married to Kerrie.
Bill had a love for education. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a master’s degree in business and then decided to go into law. He enrolled in the University of Tennessee and obtained his doctorate of law. He practiced law for over 40 years, defending those without a voice. Everyone loved Bill. He never met a stranger and it often seemed that every person he knew was his best friend.
Bill had a love for cars and fishing, often taking his grandson along on adventures. Growing up, his children often wondered if Bill loved his cherry red 1979 Corvette Stingray more than them, as he kept a picture of it in his wallet. Nevertheless, he was a very thoughtful and generous man whose love for his family was paramount and shone through in everything he did.
Per Bill’s wishes, there will be a small memorial service for immediate family only in McMinnville, TN.
