Davis, Troy - age 53, of Strawberry Plains, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was employed by Custom Foods. He was preceded in death by his parents, Murphy and Marie Davis. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Carolyn Davis; daughter, Shandra Davis Dick; son, Jeremy Davis; grandchildren, Evan and Emilee Dick; sisters Janice (Butch) Bailey, Neva (Gene) Mills, and Faye Davis; brothers Dennis (Patsy) Davis, Richard (Tonya) Davis, Tony (Jessica) Davis, Ernest (Delilah) Davis; several nieces and nephews; special mother-in-law; Genell Williams sister-in-law Cristal (Keith) Byrd, brother-in-law Randy (Cindy) Kelly; many friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 pm in the chapel of McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home with service to follow at 8 pm., Rev Eddie Smartt officiating.
