Throughout his distinguished career, William served with honor as a U.S. Marshal stationed in Puerto Rico, where his dedication to justice and public service left an indelible mark on the community. Beyond his professional achievements, he was an accomplished martial artist, holding a black belt in Wing Chun, demonstrating his commitment to discipline and lifelong learning.
William's greatest joy was his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Martha B. Rivera, and his five children: Diego, Giovanni, Guillermo, Crystal, and Princess Rivera. His legacy continues through his twelve cherished grandchildren, who were blessed to learn from his wisdom and experience his boundless love.
A committal service with military honors for William will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 at 8:30 AM at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. The family has arranged for a memorial service to be held on Wednesday, January 15th at 1:30 PM at The Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, with Father David officiating.
