I didn't know Bill when growing up, but I met him at some of the Weimer Family Reunions. He was a pure gentleman. I was unaware of his military accomplishments until reading his obituary. But that speaks of Bill's humility and unassuming character. Bill was a first cousin to my mother (Julia Weimer Walker) and his father Russell and my grandfather Clarence were brothers. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

I first met Bill when I volunteered to work with our community’s HOA. He was always willing to share his knowledge and experience with others. He was such a kind man.

Thoughts are with his family during this time of sadness.

Bill was a fine gentleman who never forgot where he came from. As often as possible he visited friends and family in Somerset County, PA where he was born. Everyone truly enjoyed those visits because he was a pleasure to talk with. My mother, Patricia Henry Ringer attended school with Bill and through her many more of us learned to know him. He will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences to the entire family.

Pops! That is how I will always remember you. You helped me 20 + years ago when I able to rent the special little house on Belair Dr. It was a fun house and I know you hated to part with it, but Judy said it was time to part with her and I was the lucky one. I known that little diamond in the ruff will always shine in my heart for your gratitude, but I have to say " that little house will always shine on Someone's hand and heart everyday"! You were special and always had time to sit down a talk about many stories in life., May God Bless you Pops. Kerry

I will be forever blessed to have 2 Fathers who I continue to cherish with all my heart. Daddy (Buck) always recognized and appreciated what kind of man and Father Pop (Bill) was to Gary and I. One helped bring us to life, and the other helped mold our lives by being a loving and nurturing Father. I love you Pop, and will never be able to convey in words what you meant to me. You will remain in my heart forever!
