William "Rex" Williams

William "Rex" Williams, age 83, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025. A longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Rex retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation Regional Garage. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Rex was a member of Charles H. McKinney F&AM Masonic Lodge #433, 32nd Degree Master Mason, Knoxville Scottish Rite, Kerbela Temple Shriners.

Preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Sylvia Williams Perryman; brothers, Duane Williams, Alfred Williams, and David Williams; and sister, Ruth Marie Thomas.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte Williams; son, Kevin Williams (Misty); daughter, Kimberly LeBouef (Ann); grandchildren: Grace Freeland, Caroline Freeland, William Freeland, Madison Williams, Heaven Berrier, and Paisley Berrier; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday October 22, 2025 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Carolyn Anderson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Berry Highland South Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
