King, Willie Alvin, age 87 of Knoxville, passed away June 9, 2013 at Hillcrest North Nursing Home. Willie was a veteran of the US Navy and served during World War II. He was retired from First American Bank. Preceded in death by parents Willie and Lillie King; wife, Laura King and son, Leonard King. Survived by children, Willie King, Jr. and wife Rachel, Marilyn and husband Rev. Frederick Patterson, Carolyn and husband Hubert Gusby and Moses King and wife Cassandra; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Doris Johnson and son Robert Johnson. Graveside services will be at 1:30pm Friday, June 14, 2013 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway with Rev. Frederick and Rev. Richard S. Brown officiating.
