Wilma Hackworth Norman Gouge, born 1930 at Byington, TN. Wilma lived in Hardin Valley most of her life. She was a member of Smith Grove Church, and was the mother of eleven beautiful children that she dearly loved. Wilma retired from Shannondale Health Care after 34 years of service. Preceded in death by husbands, Ted Norman and Gene Gouge; parents, Homer Hackworth and Ethel Hackworth; sons, Jimmy and Johnny Norman; brothers, J.R. Hackworth, Edwin Hackworth and Virgil Hackworth; sisters, Naomi Fritts Toney, Clara Rice and Marie Hackworth; grandson, Joshua Norman. Survived by five daughters and four sons, twenty-three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren she loved dearly; two brothers, Vernon and James Hackworth, several nieces, nephews, and lots of friends. Family will receive friends at Weaver’s Chapel Friday, December 31, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm with service to follow at 4:00 pm. Rev. Darrell Hackworth officiating. Family and friends will meet on Saturday at 1:45 pm for a 2:00 pm interment at Byrd’s Chapel Cemetery.
