Wilma was such a Beautiful person. Other than the last couple of years she never missed sending a birthday card, even when I I had moved a few times she always found my address. She must of used her ( FBI ) Intel. The few times I was at her home I tried to ask her questions about the FBI and I couldn’t get anything out of her! Talking about integrity and loyalty! What a wonderful lady, proud to be part of her family. 

Paul has known Wilma all of his life from their common birth neighborhood roots in the West View community, our many years together at South Knoxville Baptist and his seeing her when they both worked together in the Federal office building.  Wilma never failed to remember our birthdays, anniversaries, and other incidental times when a card would always arrive in our mailbox.  Our deepest condolences to her family in your loss.  She was a very remarkable person who is greatly missed.

Wilma was my Sunday School teacher when I was a young girl at South Knoxville Baptist Church.   I was fond of her and remember her hosting our class in her home for lunch and special gifts.  Any time I saw Wilma through the years she had a big smile.  She was a loving, Christian lady that cared about others.


We have knowing Wilma for many years since about 1960,
living just a few blocks away. Many wonderful gatherings as 
members of the Martha Washington Garden Club.

Wilma was a lovely lady who gave generously of her time and expertise. We in the Mountain Laurel Garden Club were fortunate to learn from Wilma on many occasions. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.

Aunt Wilma was always incredibly thoughtful. She made sure to never miss a holiday and always picked the fanciest cards to send. Her love language must have been gifts. Every package she wrapped looked perfect and her handwriting was exquisite. She would go out of her way to meet us for lunches or dinners, just to enjoy company. One of the things she loved was owls and I remember mom always looking for owl gifts to send her. Heaven gained another angel. I bet uncle Leon is thrilled to have her back. -We love you; rest in peace Aunt Wilma. 

Wilma was a delightful person to be around, always joyful and happy. I loved seeing her judge the flower show at Sevier County  Fair, she knew her flowers and  loved to judge.  She was a very caring thoughtful person.  I loved working with her and visiting with her at our FBI alumni meetings.  Wilma will be greatly missed.

My condolences to Wilma's family in her passing yesterday. I first met Wilma in August 1977 when I began my career at the FBI. I maintained contact with her ever since then. She was a Christian lady who many looked up to. She will be missed.

Aunt Wilma always knew the best presents for kids, CASH! She was only adult that always got that and I’ll miss her birthday cards always filled with the sweetest words!

Wilma you have been a loyal friend to all connected with the FBI both in their career and retirement. Always sending notes of hello and encouragement. A true Christian Lady, now resting in peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father. You will be missed.  Sincerely Sheila Davidson Sharp
