Windell Bruce Fuqua

FUQUA, WINDELL BRUCE age 71 of Powell, passed away May 14, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. He was a member of Inskip Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was formerly a member of Glenwood Baptist Church. He was retired from TVA and a U.S. Navy Veteran. Member of Masonic Lodge # 753 in Tompkinsville, KY. Bruce was a devoted husband and father. Preceded in death by father, J. C. Fuqua; brother, Joe Fuqua; biological mother, Jean Anthony. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 ½ years, Faye Arnett Fuqua; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Jennifer Fuqua; daughter, Tracy Woods; mother, Beatrice Fuqua of Gamaliel, KY; grandchildren, Amanda Painter and Samantha Moretz and husband, Chad; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Brian, Katlyn and Christopher Moretz; brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry Fuqua of Pikeville, N.C. and Wayne and Gail Fuqua of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Rodney England of Largo, FL; many beloved sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TWC of Inskip Baptist Church or American Heart Association. Funeral service 1 pm Monday at Weaver’s Chapel with Rev. Mike Segers officiating.
