

A. Frances Hafley, 95, of Kokomo, passed away on January 11, 2025 at 6:30 AM at North Woods Village. She was born on November 22, 1929 in Gravel Switch, Kentucky to the late Isaac Clinton and Ethel May (Crowe) Cook. She married Henry Howard Hafley on January 31, 1947 in Jeffersonville, Indiana and he preceded her in death on March 29, 2018.
Frances was a nurse's aide for many years and retired from St. Joseph Hospital. She was a past member of First Assembly of God Church. She loved the Lord with her whole heart. Frances enjoyed gardening in her yard, canning food, and camping.
Surviving are her three daughters, Linda McPike, Cathy Wilson, and Kristi (Dan) Groves; four grandchildren, Jill (Brad) Name, Ashley (Jesse) Crites, Katie (Groves) Brown, and Bradley Wilson; seven great-grandchildren, Haley Name, Mac Name, Karley Groves, Madilyn Cheesman, Aubrey Gibson and Rudy Valenzuela, Anndria Gibson, and Jonas Groves; two great-great grandchildren, Emmett and Elena Valenzuela; brother, Frank (Janice) Cook; sister, Louise Raley; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death is her loving husband of 71 years, Henry Howard Hafley; and her siblings, Roy Cook, Cecil Cook, Catherine Girtley, Howard Cook, Marie Mills, Clarence Cook, Lester Cook, Aileen Egbert, and Lillie Mae Shannon.
There will be a committal service for Frances on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, Chapel of Peace, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, In. Pastor Terry Russell will be officiating.
