Aleksandra Chapman

Aleksandra Chapman, age 76, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. She was born to Wolodymyr and Kataryna (Nowosilec) Dyriw in Ellwangen, Germany on March 20, 1949. She was the 2nd eldest of 9 children. Sandy met Jeffery Chapman in 1971, they married on November 3, 1972, and together they raised 4 children. She was a huge Colts fan and "Reggie Miller Pacers" fan. She enjoyed fishing, Bingo and Lottery pull tabs. She loved her family most of all, especially spending time with her grandchildren. Her strong will and provocative sense of humor will be missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffery Chapman; children, Mike (Paola) Chapman, Phillip (Jamilee) Chapman, Jenny Chapman, and Matt Chapman; grandchildren, Bryce (Dani) Chapman, Alexis (Campbell) Barrett, Baila Chapman, Wesley Chapman, Audrey (Cayne) Hults, Austin (Hannah) Chapman, Hannah Chapman, Tanner Chapman, Logan Chapman, Gavin Kirby, Gracie Kirby, Emma Harpe and Jaymenson Hammer; siblings, Erika Korol, Zenik Dyriw, Jurko Dyriw, Julia Fair, Olga Kulycz, Sofia Peller, and Flutch Dyriw.

Aleksandra was preceded in death by her parents, Wolodymyr and Kataryna; and her sister, Anna Danko.

A time of visitation for Aleksandra will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Aleksandra will be laid to rest immediately following her funeral service in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
