

Alisa Dyan (Hunt) Kamal, 42, of Kokomo, passed away at 5:41 AM May 21, 2017 at Community Howard Regional Health. Born September 18, 1974 in Kokomo, she is the daughter of Bobetta A. Hunt. She attended Kokomo High School and was a bartender for over 10 years, working at Big Daddys, Little Daddys, and Front Row Live. She enjoyed fishing, bartending, watching her grandson, and was very sociable. Alisa will be remembered as a kind, generous, loving person who enjoyed spending time with friends and family and adjusting to her new role as grandmother. She will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her daughters Jazmine Woodard and Biance’ Kamal; her mother Bobetta Hunt, brother Aaron Hunt; cousins William Willis, Leslie Cannon, Jason Hunt; aunt and uncle Cleta and Ronald Hunt; and newly born grandson Jowaun Butler.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents William and Marianne Ewing; aunt Diane Willis, and cousin Kyle Willis.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday May 27, 2017 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Lonnie Anderson will officiate. Entombment will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Saturday at the mortuary.
