Anna Marie Glassburn

Anna Marie Glassburn, 59, Kokomo, passed away comfortably at home on Saturday October 20, 2018. Anna was born August 30, 1959 to the late Virginia (Kaletha) and Robert Barnes Sr. She married Gary E. Glassburn March 3, 1981 in Kokomo. He survives her.

Anna was a 1977 graduate of Haworth High School in Kokomo. She retired from K-Mart in Management after 32 years of dedicated service. Anna enjoyed gardening, never missing a good garage sale, and loved her two cats Molly and Lexi. Anna was an avid collector of Fiesta ware. Anna was a dedicated mother, mamaw and friend.

Surviving Anna is her husband of over 40 years Gary, daughters Hillary Cecil, Kathryn Johnson (Jacob), step daughter Holly Bell (Shannon), sisters Debra Boyd (Jim), and Beverly Pyle (David), grandchildren James, Joshua, Jo Anna, step grandchildren Taylor, Corey, Cody and Ki'Sharra and several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

Those preceding her in death are her parents and brother Robert D. Barnes Jr. and one nephew.

The family offers a BIG thank you to the staff of Guardian Angel Hospice, the staff of 4th floor St. Vincent, Dr. Leagre and his staff at the Cancer Center, and her K-Mart family (Teresa and Pam).
