Obituary of Audrey Jane Hunt
Audrey Jane Hunt, 75, Kokomo, Indiana went to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday December 18, 2013. She was born February 25, 1938, in Kokomo to the late Harry O. Abresch and C. Lucielle (Solomon) Abresch. Audrey is survived by her loving Husband of 56 years, Raymond L. Hunt of Kokomo, a Sister, Betty Jo Shrock of Miami, and a Brother, William Abresch of Alexandria; and Children, Becky (Tom) Douglas of Kokomo, Steve (Lois) Hunt of Logansport, and Daniel (Crystal) Hunt of Russiaville. Also surviving are Grandchildren, Megan (Rod) Shaffer of Swayzee; Heather (Jim) Simpson of Atlanta (IN); Kyle Douglas of Greentown; Katherine Douglas of Evansville; Lindy Hunt, Raylie Hunt and Jeremy Hunt of Logansport; Timothy Hunt, Alexander Depoy and Seth Hunt of Russiaville; and Darion Warden of Kokomo; Great- grandchildren, Saydee Howell, Jenna Shaffer, Evan Shaffer, Shaelynn Tidd, Joshua Sorrels, Shelley Simpson and Casey Simpson; and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents Harry O. and C. Lucielle Abresch and 6 brothers. Audrey enjoyed gardening, flowers, crafts, quilting, needle work, gospel music and spending time with her family. She adored children and shared her love of cooking with them at Greentown Wesleyan Daycare Center. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. and Monday, December 23, 2013 from 10:00-11:00 am at Greentown Wesleyan Church, 120 N. Maple Street, Greentown, IN. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23 immediately following visitation at Greentown Wesleyan Church with Pastor Paul Boss officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN. Memorial Contributions may be given in her honor to Greentown Wesleyan Church.
