Bettie Johnson

Mrs. Bettie Johnson, 90 , of Kokomo passed away January 30, 2019. She was born September 16, 1928 to Kyle and Mildred Wilson in Frankfort Indiana. She was devotedly married to Burl Johnson in 1949 until his death in 2003. Bettie was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of First Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Kokomo and The Eastern Star. Bettie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and needlepoint. She especially took delight in making presents for her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters; Shirley (Robert) Revolt and Tami Reeder, two sons; Stanley and Donald Johnson and a sister; Nancy Tomey, eleven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister; Joyce Rule, brother; James Wilson and son-in-law Jeffrey Reeder.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday February 4, 2019 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel 3400 S Webster St., with calling from 11:00am until time of service. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery, Kokomo, IN immediately following the service. Pastor Joyce Harris will preside over services.
