Betty J. (Shrock) Petty, 87, Kokomo, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Golden Living Sycamore Village. She was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Kokomo, to Raymond Merrell and Eva (Denman) Peele.
She enjoyed sports and spending time with family.
She is survived by three daughters, Connie (Ralph) Colter, Sandra Davis, and Judy (Terry) Lytle; a son, Rick Shrock; six grandchildren, Kevin Burdine, Tammy Hunt, Robbie and Scottie Davis, Courtney Lytle, and Erik Shrock; and four great-grandchildren, Tahnee Burdine, Alicia Luna, Kyle Davis, and Brandon Hunt.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Leon Shrock and Charles Petty; and three sons, Mike, Terry, and Mark Shrock.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron DeGraaff officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
