Betty L Raney

January 30, 1935 – October 15, 2016

GREENSBURG-Betty Raney passed away Saturday afternoon at Aspen Place in Greensburg IN. She was born to Manford and Josephine (Lee) Wheeler in Russiaville IN. She graduated from the Forest High School. Betty was a former Eastern Star Worthy Matron and a former member of the United Methodist Church of Flora IN. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She worked at Delco Electronics for 27 years before her retirement. Betty’s greatest love of all were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty is survived by Richard (Debbie) Raney, Carol Raney, Linda (David) Shanks, grandchildren Stephanie (Jordan)Zook, Leanne (Clint)Fague, Matthew Shanks, Meagan Shanks, great-grandchildren Hannah and Owen Zook and Addilyn and one on the way Fague also two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by parents, son in law David Shanks and brother- in-law Howard Ogle. A gathering of friends and family will be October 19, 2016 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo IN. 46902 with a funeral service to immediately follow starting at 2:00PM WITH Pastor Steve Cole officiating.
