Brenda Sue Kirby

Brenda was raised in Gate City, Virginia and graduated from high school in Virginia, and later married the love of her life, Kenneth L Kirby on July 23, 1970 at Jefferson Baptist Church in Kokomo.

Brenda devoted her life to raising her children and grandchildren. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing softball, antiquing, and crafts. She loved spending time with her husband most of all.

In addition to her husband, Kenneth, Brenda is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Holaday, Stacy (Chad) Birchler, and Stephanie (Randy M.) Ramberger; son, Samuel (Cassie) Kirby; grandchildren, Aaron Birchler, Natalie Haddad, Isabella Kirby-Ramberger, Aidan Birchler, Gavin Kirby, Ava Ramberger, Shyla Ramberger, Journey Brackett, Gracie Kirby, and Wrigley Kirby.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Lane, Francis Louise Pier, and Geraldine Thompson; and two nephews, Thomas William Rhoton, and Jeffery Lynn Lane.

There will be a public visitation for Brenda at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25th from 3-6 pm, with a funeral service immediately following at 6. Friends and relatives are then invited to have a meal at Cross Roads Community Church in Kokomo.

Memorial contributions in Brenda’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
