

Carol Ann Blake, 71, Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born December 23, 1943, in Lebanon, to Robert and Barbara (Martin) Horton. On February 3, 1963, she married Larry Blake, and he survives.
She worked at McDonald’s for twenty-five years and was a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship. She was very active leading and participating in ladies bible study, volunteering in children’s church, supporting missions ministries and faithfully served the Lord in everything she did. She was a volunteer for the last ten years at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She loved to camp and fish and enjoyed motorcycle traveling for over thirty years. She was very proud of her grandchildren and cherished spending time with them.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Tammy (Jim) Roushar, Greentown, Bill (Tangelina) Blake, Greenfield, and Tawnya (Dave) Unger, Lebanon; grandchildren, Brooke Gragg, Zach Unger, Dalton Blake, Delonie Blake, and Garrett Unger; one great-grandchild, Tanner Gragg; three brothers, Roy (Jill) Horton, Jerry (Patty) Horton, and Rodney (Kelly) Horton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dennis Horton.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Russell officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to C.A.M. or the Kokomo Rescue Mission.
