

Carolyn met and married the love of her life, William "Bill" Browning, Sr. on August 5, 1960, and he survives. She retired from General Motors after 27 years to spend more time with her family. Carolyn enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and coaching little league at East Side Ballpark. She also ran the Samaritan Love Center for 12 years. She especially loved being a part of her Woodland Church family.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Bill; her children, Kathy DeWitt (Mark), William Browning Jr. (Cheryl), Sandy Walker (Scott), and Jeffery Browning (Valerie); her brothers, James, Donald "Doc", John, and Tim Lowe; sister-in-law, Nancy Beswick (Charles); brother-in-laws, Tom Browning, Ronnie Browning (Nanette), and Terry Browning (Evaline Sills); along with 11 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, three sister-in-laws, two nephews, and one great-grandson.
The family would like to thank Guardian Angel Hospice for their loving care.
A public visitation for Carolyn will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Woodland Church of God, 3401 S Webster St, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Pastor Michael Alley will officiate.
Carolyn will be laid to rest at Kokomo Memorial Park.
