Charleen Brown, 82, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on June 13, 2022. She was born on December 11, 1939 in Whitehouse, TN to John William Butler and Essie Napier. She worked at Chrysler for many years. Charleen loved her church and her family. She was a proud supporter of We Care and the Hope Doll. She liked to go fishing with her husband Benny and loved her pets. Her favorite hobby was Sudoku, crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Butler and his wife Peggy; her, daughter Phyllis Ford; sons, John Ford and Timothy Ford.
Charleen is survived by her loving husband, Benny Brown; daughter, Christy Ford; sons, Phil Ford, Benjamin Brown, Jon Shaffer and David Shaffer; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
