

Clara Mae Wilson, 87, Kokomo, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014, at Waterford Place Health Campus. She was born January 20, 1927, in Weirton, West Virginia, the daughter of Huston and Anna (Herrington) Brown. On March 1, 1946, she married Daniel N. Wilson, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2003.
She worked as an executive secretary at Kolux Sign Company and later at Kinder Sign Service. She was an avid euchre player, and she and her four sisters spent numerous times together playing cards and honing their skills.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Carey Spaulding, and Amanda Spaulding, both of Noblesville; two sisters, Rebecca Franklin, Gallatin, Tennessee, and Sarah Preston, Lerna, Illinois; and one half-brother, Michael Brown.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Judy Spaulding; and two sisters, Mable Webster, and Marian Kinder.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Ron DeGraaff officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
