Clarence R Larson

Clarence Russell Larson, 89, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away May 20, 2024. He was born on May 4,1935 in Kokomo, Indiana the son of Lawrence and Evangeline Larson. On January 21, 1955 he married Nancy Lulu (Alexander) Larson who preceded him in death on July 22, 2003.

Clarence began his career as a butcher at various grocery stores in Kokomo. He also worked at Chrysler in production for 26 years before retiring. Clarence was a very friendly man and did not know a stranger. He served as a leader in Boy Scouts of America while his son was involved. Clarence was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife and son to Mackinac Island.

Surviving relatives include his son, Steven K. Larson of Kokomo, IN and his church family from Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a companion, Ruby Stiner.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer 705 East Southway Blvd, Kokomo, IN 46902. Funeral services 12:00 Noon Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery in Kokomo.
