

Clarence H. Martin, Sr., 72, Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at his residence. He was born December 8, 1937, in Alexandria, Tennessee to Othel and Clara Mae (Rush) Martin. He married Ida Fayerweather on July 3, 1955, and she survives.
He worked as a truck driver for Vons Supermarket and retired in 1996. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.
In addition to his wife, Ida Martin, he is survived by one son, Clarence H. (Monica) Martin, Jr., Kokomo; three daughters, Donna (Otto) Matthews, California, Raydeen (Paul) Timpano, California, and Gail (Jim) Hinsberger, Kokomo; grandchildren, Jim, Lorin, Britny, Kyle, Bill, Melanie, Maegen, Jacqueline and Kaitline; great-grandchildren, Andru, Addie and William; brothers, William Martin, Florida, Eddie Damron, Florida, and Jim Martin, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Gayle Johnston.
A memorial service will be held 2:00p.m., June 26, 2010 at Faith Christian Fellowship Church, 21209 S. Claretta St., Hawaiian Gardens, California.
