He served in the United States Air Force for nine years and later worked at Delco, retiring in 1999 after 30 years of service. He was a devoted family man and he cherished his mother. He enjoyed traveling and listening to music.
He is survived by his brother, James G. Reid, and his friend and ex-wife, Patricia Burthay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Entombment will take place in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be made at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.
