Connie Sue Vermilion

Connie became an LPN and worked in the OB department of Howard Community Hospital before getting married and becoming a mother to Terry (Teri) Vermilion, Angela Locklear (Ronald Bright) and Ryan Vermilion (Britini Wregglesworth). Connie loved all things flowers, birds, butterflies and the color purple. She loved to “play in the dirt’, create floral arrangements and was a talented painter. Later in life Connie worked for Planned Parenthood, Indiana Health Center and McKinley schools where she discovered her calling in working with troubled youth.

Along with her children, Connie is survived by her brother, Eldon Einselen, her grandchildren Emily (Dakota) Hamilton, Maggie, Zachary & Bella Vermilion, Eli, Alex & Aidenn Locklear, Bryce Schutte and RJ Vermilion and great grandchildren Brynlee, Michael and Vincent Hamilton.

There will be a time of visitation for Connie on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM until the time of the Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Peggy Frye will be officiating.
