

Dale Edward Browning, 78, of Kokomo, passed away at 5:15 AM, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at St. Vincent Kokomo. He was born January 3, 1939 in Galveston, Indiana to the late Floyd Ross and Opal Marie (Vaughn) Browning. He married Leona (Thomas) Browning on November 26, 1970, and she survives.
Dale was the owner and operator of Browning Plumbing and Heating in Kokomo. After he retired from his business, Dale went on to work for Chrysler Corp. as a skilled trades pipefitter and officially retired in 2001. He enjoyed hunting, wood-working, and playing his harmonica. He was a member of New Life Church.
Surviving is his loving wife of 46 years, Leona; four sons, Steven (Linda) Browning, Peru, Jerry Browning, Patrick (Jenni) Browning, Noblesville, Ronald (Michelle) Browning, Carmel; daughter, Pam Browning, Peru; stepson, Robert (LeeAnn) Hester, Peru; sixteen grandchildren, Trisha (Tom) Robbins, Jamie (Fred) Ross, Jan (Dave) Hoover, Jeremy Browning, Alyssa Browning, Angel Butzin, Niky Clark, Jeff Browning, Kearston Browning, Kinsey Browning, Kassidy Browning, Logan Browning, Ryan Hester, Nick Hester, Zachary Browning, and Emily Browning; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by stepson, Randy Hester; two grandchildren, Trevon Browning and Cory Hester; two sisters, Sharon Fewell and Karen Stineson; and two brothers, Jack Browning and Ronald Browning.
A Funeral Service will be at 12:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017 at New Life Church, 1803 East Vaile Ave., Kokomo with Pastor Steve Eckart officiating. The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday from 10am, until the time of the service, also at the church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden.
