Dale E Roberts

Dale Francis Roberts, 82, Kokomo went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 31st, 2017 Dale was born on September 10th, 1935 in Kokomo, IN to his parents Fred and Hazel (Rayls) Roberts Dale married D. Sue Thomas on January 26th, 1962 in Hobbs, NM, whom survives. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Della, son David (Jennifer Barnes) Baker, Kokomo, daughters Linda Nation, Rapid City, SD, and Sudale Paul, Kokomo; sister Vera Harrison, four grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren. Dale retired in 2012 from Millie’s Bakery where he was their cashier. Dale served our country proudly in the United States Army. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, frequenting yard sales and antique shops. Dale and Della were longtime members of Victory Church of God. He will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and as a fantastic chef. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Lloyd Johnson, brother Donald Roberts, sisters Gloria Thompson and Isla May Archer, and grandson Lee Powell. Memorial Contributions may be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews® 30 North LaSalle Street, Suite 4300, Chicago, IL 60602-2584. Services will be Thursday January 4th, 2018 at Victory Church of God (2210 E 100 N 46901) at 1:30pm with visitation from 11:30am with Pastor Herman Gorham officiating.
