Danny Ray Redman, 56, was born March 12, 1963 in Kokomo, Indiana to Willard (Pete) Redman and Barbra (Creasy) Black. On June 2, 1984 he married his wife Kandice (Ward) Redman. He graduated in 1981 from Hayworth High School. Danny worked for the Laborers Local 274 for 30 years, before his retirement in 2013.
Danny loved Harley’s, race cars and derby cars, and his dog Jazlyn. His passion was his family. He adored his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kandice, his parents Barbra and Charles Black, Pete Redman and Sharon Magers. Also sons Christopher Redman (Lisha Chriswell), Brian Redman (Amber Campbell), a brother H. Wayne Coombs, his grandchildren Robert Redman, Haiden Collins, Jude Donovan, Kaidence Redman, step-grandchildren Jordan Probst, Bryleigh Probst, Eddie Clark, Emmaleigh Clark, step-great grandchild Lucas Miles, 2 brothers-in-law Keith Ward II and James McKinney Jr., 4 nephews Adam McKinney, Ryan McKinney, Keith Ward III, Alex Ward, niece Jessie Ward, 5 uncles Bill Creasy, Paul Creasy, Donnie Creasy, Joe (Kathy) Creasy, Ray (Diane) Creasy, aunt Brenda Avery, his best friends Kerry (Sheila) Collins, Ricky (Sara) Williams, and Toby (Bobbie) Langley. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Herman Creasy and Ramona Ford, an aunt Frankie Scott, mother-in-law Elizabeth Ward, father-in-law Keith (Andy) Ward, sister-in-law Donna McKinney, infant brother Bryan Neal Redman, and his dogs Fozzie Bear, Petey and Angus.
Danny lived his life his way, always doing for others and helping in any way he could. He was always willing to try anything once, and no regrets.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana for all the work they did on Danny’s short stay.
A gathering of friends will be Tuesday October 22, 2019 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street. Memorial contributions may be made to We Care in Kokomo, Indiana.
