If you’re reading this, it means I died of boredom while watching HGTV, or my pizza dough became sentient and sought revenge.
I spent 43 beautiful years with my wife, Karen Hazelton, and 30 terrifying ones with my daughter, Hillarie Finley. I taught my son-in-law, Britton Finley, some trade secrets so he does not also succumb to the wiles of pizza dough.
I loved singing my Sundays away with my mother-in-law, Barbara Mitchell, at Point Isabel United Methodist Church.
Before my death, I lost my mother, Maggie Hazelton; my father, Howard Hazelton, my brother, Allen Hazelton, my sister, Mary Kenney; and my father-in-law, Donald Mitchell. My surviving siblings are Howard (Lois) Hazelton II, William (Doug) Hazelton, Beth (Marc Mercer) Newman, and Denise Lohnas. Many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive me.
You can see my body at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center at 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo, IN 46902. The viewing begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m., with my services starting immediately after.
Instead of swarming my family with flowers, please donate to World Central Kitchen (https://wck.org/).
