David Owen Oldaker

David graduated From Northwestern High School in 1971. David worked at Milbank Manufacturing in Kokomo, Indiana where he was given the nickname, “Foot”.

On July 12, 1975, David married Debbie Collins, the love of his life, who preceded him in death. David and Debbie had two children, Matt (wife Holly) and Rachal; as well as four grandchildren; Siera (Nathan Robertson), Gage (Annabelle Hughes), Aidan (Carly Stepler), and Hattie; and a great grandson, Aryan Singh and they survive. Also surviving are a sister, Lori Henninge, and brother-in-law, Jerry Fortune, as well as several loved nieces and nephews.

Dave enjoyed watching football, watching MeTV, fishing and spending time with his family. Dave was a Michigan Wolverines and Indianapolis Colts football fan. He looked forward to the beginning of the football season so he could cheer his teams on, or share colorful commentary to get them back on track. Dave also enjoyed watching The Andy Griffith Show, M.A.S.H., Carol Burnett and Friends, and Svengooli on MeTv. He was happiest when spending time with his family. His greatest joy was watching his grandkids and great grandson grow up. He was so proud of them.

David will be remembered for his perseverance, sense of humor, and the love he showed his family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Debra; sisters; Marcia Nichols and Cathy Steely; brother, Tim Oldaker; sisters-in-law Diana Wray and Donna Fortune; and brother-in-law, Clinton Wray.

Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center 3400 S. Webster Street Kokomo, Indiana 46902.
