Della Sue Roberts

The family of Della Sue Roberts announces her passing on September 18, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born in Lueders, TX on August 17, 1938 to J.B. & Georgia Dean Thomas. Della married Dale Roberts on January 26, 1962. They cherished each other until his passing on December 31, 2017. Della was a devoted member of the Victory Church of God. She loved family get-togethers where she would cook for the occasions. Della collected bells & dolls and could be seen at garage sales & auctions and enjoyed watching true crime stories. Della is survived by her son David Baker; daughters Sudale Paul & Linda Nation; grandsons William & Michael Paul; 20 great grandchildren; brothers Ronnie (Sandra) Thomas, Jack (Kay) Thomas & Arnold (Kathy) Thomas; sisters Joyce (Bobby) Simmons & Mary Lytle. Della was preceded in death by her husband Dale; parents J.B. & Georgia; sister Treva Owens and grandson Lee Powell. A funeral service for Della will be Saturday September 24, 2022 1:00pm at Victory Church of God 2216 Co. Rd. E.100 N. Kokomo, IN 46901 with a visitation starting at 10:00am continuing until time of service. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery, Kokomo. Pastor Robert Phelps will officiate. Contributions on Della’s behalf may be made to the church.
