Diana worked at Kokomo Grain for a short time but still talked about how much she loved it there years later. In all she did, she carried an adventurous spirit. Her interests reflected a love of expression and celebration: singing, dancing, music, and the sharing of recipes that brought people together. Diana’s legacy also includes a well-known, unmistakable toughness—by reputation, there was not a man in town that could drink her under the table.
She is survived by her son Lucas Cook (Heather); nieces and nephews, Brandi Kennedy, Crystal Godbey, Iva Turner, Tina Godbey Kidd, Dan Godbey, Katie Groves, Justin Harrison, Miles Cook, as well as many others; siblings, Jeff Cook and Joyce Morton; and great nephew Dylan Cook.
In addition to her parents Diana is preceded in death by four siblings and the love of her life, Cindy Gordon.
Family will have a private service for Diana at a later date.
