Dorothy B Meyers

KOKOMO-Dorothy B. Meyers 93 passed away Friday morning February 10, 2017 at Century Villa Health Care in Greentown IN. She was born December 29, 1923 to Oral and Mable(Ellis)Andrews in Windfall IN. Dorothy went to work at Delco and worked there until her retirement in 1981. She was also a member of the “RED HAT SOCIETY” which she enjoyed and a member of the Nevada Church of God in Nevada where she enjoyed singing. Dorothy played the organ but her greatest love of all was her children.

Dorothy married Fate Loy Meyers and together they had 9 children Fate passed in March, 1989. She is survived by Steve(Dottie)Meyers, Dale(Natalie)Meyers, Phillip(Pamela)Meyers, Linda Nelson, Von(Sun Ye)Meyers, Jon (Debra)Meyers, Randy Meyers, Brenda(Bill)Brown also 33 Grandchildren, 67 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Fate, Daughter Damita (Lois) McCloskey, Grandson Christian Philapy, Brother Edward(Bud) Andrews, Sisters Vonda Andrews, Lorena Petty, May Merritt Graf.

A gathering of friends and family will be February 17, 2017 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo IN. 46902 11:00am -2:00pm with a funeral immediately starting at 2:00pm with Pastors Dave Cornelius and Steve Branstutter officiating. Entombment will follow in Peace Mausoleum in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
