On Oct. 12, 1946 she married John Knight. She was a graduate of Kokomo High School 1945.
Edith was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed serving her Lord. She also loved to volunteer, and loved to travel. She spent several winters in Petersburg Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, her husband, and grandson.
Survivors are her daughter Sheryl (Mike) White, Jackie Shaffer; granddaughter Michelle Etherington; grandson Adam Shaffer; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will take place at Crown Point Cemetery.
