Evie Terrell Barnett

Evie Terrell Barnett, 41 of Kokomo, IN gained his wings on May 25, 2024. He was born in Kokomo, IN to Franklin Barnett and Mildred Allen on November 10, 1982. Evie had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. His smile would light up any room he stepped into and he always greeted you with a hug. He will always be remembered for all the love he shared with family and friends and he will be missed dearly. Evie was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Allen; father, Franklin Barnett; and daughter, Talayeh Barnett. He is survived by his siblings Laveta Humphries-Beard, Demitrius Barnett, Toshia Allen, a host of family members, and friends that have become family over the years. Evie’s Words from April 2nd, 2024 “He is working in me, around me and through me. If anyone knows anything about me, I definitely have a story. I hope and pray the people who do know me know it's not me, it is Him. It's not my will but His will.
