

Flavella “Faye” June Marner, 72, Milford, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Waterford Place Health Campus. She was born June 11, 1941, in Kokomo, to Walter and Flora Valancy (White) Guy. On October 16, 1979, she married S. James Marner, in Springfield, Tennessee, and he preceded her in death on February 8, 1995.
She was a special lady and will be missed by all who knew her. She loved animals, was a good mother and cherished her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Cupp, Milford, and Diedra (Virgil) Kessler, Kokomo; three grandchildren, Cailyn Kessler, Moriah Kessler, and Maleigha Kessler; eight siblings, Azetta Moyers, Ruby Shipley, Doshia (Wayne) Webb, Janis Jean (Robert) Hancock, Ora (Mac) McLay, Charles Walter (Jeanie) Guy, Ruth (Tom) Barnes, and Delana (Bud) Smith; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Tawnie.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Manual Guy, Coleman Guy, and Leroy Guy; and a set of twin siblings.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel Tabernacle, 661 W. 400 S. Kokomo, with Pastor David Cornelius officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Tabernacle or the Howard County Humane Society.
