

Floyd I. Grant, II, 83, Monticello, formally of Kokomo, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Floyd was born Aug. 13, 1931, to Floyd I. Grant and Wanetta L. Grant (McNutt).
He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1949 and attended Indiana University Kokomo. Floyd was employed for 29 years at Cuneo Press before retiring. Floyd was a jack of all trades and would help a friend or perfect stranger in need. Floyd and his wife, Betty, opened their home at a moment’s notice to family and friends and a good time was had by all. Floyd enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables and all sporting events and his dogs and cats, Maxie, Bootsey, Sassy, Tigger, and Olivia.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Betty; sons, Steven, Ohio, Douglas (wife Linda), Tipton; sisters, Nancy Durfey (husband Jim), Carmel, Penelope Granger, Kokomo; and brother, Paul Grant (wife Kathy), Kokomo; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family of Floyd may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo.
